His list of clients includes Elon Musk (Space X; Tesla) and Dana Cowin (Editor in Chief – Food & Wine Magazine).  As Senior Decorative Designer under Bill Sofield (Studio Sofield, NYC) Antonio collaborated on residential interiors for Joel Silver (Film Producer) and Will Smith (Actor), for whom he designed several exclusive pieces of furniture, lighting and rugs.  Also under Sofield, Antonio was a senior associate, designing and specifying for commercial projects, such as the Baker Knapp & Tubbs showrooms in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and Miami - as well as the YSL flagship store in New York City.

Antonio da Motta’s work has been published in magazines and books in Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, England, Spain and the United States.  He has been featured in HGTV’s Small Space Big Style, as well as in Open House L.A.

Antonio draws inspiration from Brazil’s strong Baroque and African influences, its Modernist tradition – as well as from his trips around the world and from his deep and vast research in architecture, art and design.  Da Motta’s work is imbued with a harmonious and eclectic mix of styles and a strong, sophisticated sense of color.
